THE JOKER

This powerful artwork captures the intensity of the Joker in charcoal and graphite, with an astonishing attention to detail. His iconic, sinister expression and penetrating gaze radiate both rebellion and control, as well as fearless determination. The color-highlighted text “some people want to see you fall, disappoint them” reinforces the message of resilience and unstoppable resolve. The contrast between the dark, expressive shadows and the raw emotion in the lighter parts of the portrait makes this piece irresistibly intriguing, emphasizing the message of strength and resilience in the face of adversity. A statement piece that makes an impact both visually and emotionally.

As an extra surprise, the back of the piece contains a hidden detail – a subtle message that adds to the unique significance of this work and offers an intimate connection for the owner.

A must-have for collectors who appreciate depth and an unexpected twist.

LIGHT AFTER DARKNESS

This work is a powerful symbol of recovery, perspective, and inner transformation, inspired by the experience of a dark period when everything seemed colorless. The eye, in charcoal and graphite, reflects a monochrome world, a time when life had lost its vibrancy. Hovering before the eye, a hummingbird, rendered in meticulous detail, serves as a bringer of lightness and change. In the reflection of the iris, color breaks through: the hummingbird appears in full, vibrant hues, a metaphor for the moment when life slowly regains its colors. With exceptional attention to texture and contrast, this piece emphasizes the transition from darkness to light, from emptiness to fulfillment. It is an ode to resilience and a reminder of the beauty that becomes visible once again after the deepest lows.

SMOKING NUN

This artwork presents a unique and provocative composition in which a young nun, dressed in a sensual interpretation of traditional habit, takes center stage. Her black robe is sharply cut, subtly revealing her silhouette, while her classic hood remains intact, creating a tension between devotion and rebellion. She stands casually against a weathered stone wall, holding a burning cigarette carelessly in her hand, its smoke curling upward in graceful swirls, with a hint of mischief, as if she is aware of the taboos she is breaking. The delicate charcoal lines and graphite details emphasize the intensity and mystique of the moment, while the soft background evokes an atmosphere of mystery, as her expression and posture challenge the viewer to look beyond conventions.

The piece strikes a balance between elegance and provocation, inviting interpretation of themes such as freedom, temptation, and faith.

Mímir

Mímir is the name of a giant or jotun in Norse mythology, the keeper of the source of wisdom in Jotunheim. Odin demanded an eye from Mímir and ear from Heimdal as an offering in exchange for drinking from the spring of wisdom. In this way Mímir acquired ‘clear seeing’ and ‘clear hearing’.

Mímir’s well lies beneath the root of the World tree Yggdrasil.

The stories about Mímir’s head report that Mímir was taken hostage along with the Hœnir whom he then had to assist as a counselor. Soon, however, they found that Hœnir became completely dependent on Mímir’s counsel. So they beheaded the sage and sent his head back to the Aesir. Odin then preserved the head with herbs and spells and received wisdom and messages from the other worlds through it.

BUTTERFLY

The portrait of a woman, drawn with refined details and soft shadows, exudes vulnerability and mystery. On her cheek, the fragile beauty of a butterfly, a striking contrast that symbolizes both softness and transformation. The vibrant blue butterfly on her cheek breaks through the monochrome palette and enhances the harmony between realism and symbolism. This makes the piece both visually and emotionally powerful, perfect for collectors who appreciate understated yet meaningful art.
